| | Warped Tour in a nutshell: Hot, humid, exhausting. - Only got to see 4 bands (From First To Last, The Academy Is, Anberlin, and The Remus Lupins) because of the heatwave -
Forgot to bring $$ from home :( I thought I had left it in the wallet I
was bringing. Ugh. But after awhile, I cared less if I had brought the
$$ or not 'cause there was nothing worthy to buy. Except the drinks
(Thanks guys for sharing the water and Powerade) - Fainted after
seeing the first show which was by From First To Last. I basically
collapsed and blacked out into some merch boxes. Fortunately, the guy
there helped me up (he was pretty cute by the way lol) and gave me a
muffin and water. I felt so bad but I thanked him afterwards. - Then I lost my VIP pass and had to go back for another one. The ladies at the booth were really nice to give me one :) - Bought so many drinks because we kept being dehydrated. Didn't even eat lunch (but we weren't that hungry anyways) -
Accidentally spit my Monster drink on someone in the crowd during The
Academy Is D: I drank some and then coughed =_= I felt stupid and kept
apologizing to the person. However, she didn't notice that I actually
spit it...she probably thought someone knocked into me and I spilled my
drink (I was actually trying to make it look like that LOL). I felt
soooo embarassed! - Went to the area with the tour buses for the
most part. Lurked around lol. Saw Travis McCoy, Disashi (we kept seeing
each other and I felt awkward because I got his autograph and yelled
'Hi!' to him but he waved back with a irksome smile), Eric Roberts (so
cute! I wanted to say hi to him too but he was talking with the
others), Michael Guy Chislett (he was very polite :D), We The Kings
band (they were walking way too far to even catch up with them), The
Butcher (lol I felt awkward because I opened my arms out and yelled
"BUTCHER!" and he came to us but said he had to go to a signing. So
weird lol. Did not mean to make it so creepy D:),and William Beckett at
the end of the day (such a good conclusion to the day. He was really
nice but he looked a bit miserable and tired. I felt sorry for the poor
guy :( I just asked to take a picture and said that they did well
today. Unlike the girls who were grabbing at him and chasing his ass
down the whole field. My goodness so inconsiderate D:) - Me and my
other friends felt really bad for The Academy Is because we could tell
that after they were chased down by the screaming fangirls, they looked
terribly sad and didn't seem like they wanted to talk with the other
fans. Even Adam Siska seemed to avoid us because we saw him talking to
someone but he walked super fast behind the other buses afterwards.
Also, Michael saw us again and ignored us as we walked pass (although
he was probably really busy or grabbing something to eat). It's so sad
to see these guys not being able to talk with their fans much anymore.
I mean they do sometimes but they kind of try avoid the whole
hysterical hype from the fans who attack them. We didn't even mean any
harm at all and I guess they thought we were one of the crazed
fangirls. It makes me feel so disheartened :( My friends sent them a
letter about it though...hopefully they see that there are still fans
out there who still treat them as human beings and not like meat. -
In the end, it was a good day besides the hot hot weather and the
crappy stuff that happened. I had a lot of fun with my friends :) but
I'm not sure if I'm going to go to another music festival or show
that's outside in such terrible weather. I should check the weather
more when planning out going to shows in the future. |
